  • Miss Mary BoBo's Boarding House is no longer a boarding house, but they do serve the finest down-home country food this side of Nashville. It's just off the "town square" in Lynchburg, TN. They expanded it's size, but still they are nearly always full. You'll see why. Make your group reservation here ~way~ in advance.

  • Winchester and Lynchburg are filled with unique places to shop, eat, and spend the day. Following is a popular location to shop in Winchester.

  • Hammers Department Store, in Winchester, is one of the last of the family-owned, small department stores. Is made for browsing and exploring the old wooden counters for treasures among rejects. 15 minutes to Winchester.

  • Nearby Tims Ford State Park has many amenities including an Olympic size swimming pool, and five miles of paved trails to allow the hiker and cyclist to explore the natural surroundings of Tims Ford Lake. Tims Ford State Park is right across the road, 1/2 mile.

  • Spectacular wildlife viewing in a reserve-like environment.

  • Family sized canoe trips are available for floating down the friendly Elk River. We recommend Elk River Canoe Outfitters. They have everything you need for a "stress free" float. The drive is 30 minutes, and you can float as long as you want. Take a picnic!

  • Visit Franklin County Points of Interest for more information.

Enjoy yourself as you wind through the middle Tennessee back roads which offers unique Antiques, and Crafts & Collectibles in nearby Winchester, Lynchburg, Belvidere and Tullahoma.
