Swimming Pool

Tims Ford State Park has many amenities including an Olympic size swimming pool.


There are five miles of paved trails to allow the hiker and cyclist to explore the natural surroundings of the Tims Ford Lake.

Tims Ford State Park is right across the road, 1/2 mile.

Falls Mill

Miss Mary BoBo's Boarding House is no longer a boarding house, but they do serve some of the finest down-home country food this side of Nashville.

It's located right off the town square in Lynchburg, TN. It's recently been expanded, but still this restaurant is nearly always full. You'll see why. Make your group reservation here way in advance.


Nearby Winchester and Lynchburg are filled with unique places to shop, eat, and spend the day.


Family sized canoe trips are available for floating down the friendly Elk River. We recommend Elk River Canoe Outfitters. They have everything you need for a "stress free" float. The drive is 30 minutes, and you can float as long as you want. Take a picnic!
